It has come to our attention that the Toronto-based Institute for Peace and Diplomacy (IPD)  is organising an event in Ottawa called “The Ottawa Dialogue on Taiwan.”  It is sponsored by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Canada (Taiwan’s de facto Embassy) and the Global Taiwan Institute, a Washington-based think tank and lobby group.
